Grow Receives Two Nominations at the Seamless Awards

Grow has been nominated for two prestigious awards at the Seamless Awards 2017. The Seamless Awards is a long-running awards ceremony for the finance, retail and e-commerce industry and will be taking place at the Armani Hotel on May 1st. Already an award-winning agency in Dubai, Grow is proud to present its two new websites which have been carefully considered up against some leading names and companies within the UAE.

The first nomination is for the Best Design and User Experience - Butcher & Still; a high-end restaurant situated in the highly esteemed Four Seasons Al Maryah Island. Full of character and buzzing with energy, Butcher & Still steakhouse anchors Four Seasons as the hottest new destination in Abu Dhabi's dining and nightlife scene.

The objective of the website is to convey the Butcher & Still restaurant’s vibe and level of sophistication to the user, and ultimately encourage them to book a reservation. Consideration needed to be made for the high-income high-expectations of the typical patron to Four Seasons brands. Hence the technical, design and user experience elements needed to be seamlessly implemented.

The user experience has been considered from the very beginning by a specialised User Psychologist who understands the science behind behavioural economics (the behaviour of large numbers of people). He specifically applies his knowledge to user experience design to create seamless user experiences. This type of UX is especially important for a high-end restaurant in the Four Seasons hotel. Their audience is particularly discerning of quality and has the highest expectations. Thus the website should not disappoint in any way.

The second award nomination is for Radius Group for the Digital Transformation and Innovation of the Year award. Radius Group is an F&B holding company for brands including Circle Cafe and Sushi Counter. These brands have had a long process of digital transformation, evolving from the traditional website (existing for the sake of it), towards an online ordering focus, to the present day, where they own multi-platform, integrated systems with custom reporting and post-sale automated marketing. All developed on a bespoke platform that is exclusive to Radius Group and intelligently designed by specialists in user experience and eCommerce conversion optimisation.

Both sites support real-time ordering of food where orders are sent directly to the closest branch and staff can then keep the customer informed on the status of their order.

The technology improvements, although still in early days, have resulted in measurable revenue increases and extremely high conversion rates through both brand websites.
